All About Sole Food!

Hey Sole Foodies,

Lindsay here, and I just wanted to take a little time to explain all about Sole Food and how we operate. We’re a small business with a boutique atmosphere (and a lot of heart!). We love shoes, and we do our best to choose fun, comfortable, colorful styles that you just won’t find anywhere else.  Each season’s collection is carefully selected by our staff to be unique.

Because of this, we have small quantities of the styles we carry-usually one or two in each size. This just means that the shoes you get from Sole Food are more special! You’re unlikely to find someone walking down the street with the same shoes.  It also means that if you find a great pair here, don’t wait! If you come back a week or two later, your perfect pair is likely to be gone.  We have a thirty day refund policy on unworn (full price) merchandise, so you can take a pair home, wear them around the house, and try them on with different outfits to make sure they’re right for you. If not, bring them back for a full refund. Here at Sole Food, we want to make sure you LOVE your shoes!

One exciting addition to Sole Food is our brand new website! Many of our awesome styles can be ordered directly from http://www.shopsolefood.com/.   If you want to be the first to check out our newest shoes, go to the new arrivals section at http://www.shopsolefood.com/New-Spring-2011-Arrivals/. That’s where we put brand new styles that aren’t even in the store yet!  These shoes will be exclusively online for a while, so take a peek!

I love Sole Food because we carry lines that you can’t find at most department stores. Some of my favorites are Gidigio, Gee WaWa, John Fluevog, and Gabor.  Here are a couple great styles we have in store right now!

New Flats for Summer!

New flats are here! We have some über-cute styles ready for you! Featured in our post are styles from Gentle Souls, Gee WaWa, and a newer company we started carrying just this spring, Kelsi Dagger. Check them out!

Gentle Souls' Bay Braid Flat [US whole and half sizes 6-10]

One of Sole Food's most popular styles, the Bay Braid flat is everything you want in a flat...cute AND comfortable! The metallic finish is great for summer, but will also carry you perfectly into fall.

Gee WaWa's Lucy Ballet Flat [US whole and half sizes 6-10]

This flat will surprise you with its super soft leather! This flat hugs your foot with its nubuck-like softness, and is the perfect simple ballet. It goes great with everything - your skirts, dresses, denim and more!

Kelsi Dagger Shaye Flat [US whole and half sizes 6-10]

Time and time again, Kelsi Dagger designs stand out on our shelves, but especially on your feet! The Shaye Flat is a simple ballet with beautiful eyelet detailing.

Kelsi Dagger's Melia Flat [US whole and half sizes 6-10]

Another great flat from Kelsi Dagger, the Melia flat is soft, feminine, and cute! The deep purple leathers go well with floral dresses as well as your earthtones.
